CyBlock Appliance Technical Specs

Filter and monitor protocol and Web traffic with the CyBlock Appliance.

Use the links below to find out how CyBlock Appliance fits into your network.

Network Configuration

Bridge (Transparent) Mode

The appliance works as an "in-line" device between your internal network and the Internet.  It acts like a bridge, allowing Internet traffic to flow transparently through it - giving it the ability to block and monitor Web sites and applications, i.e, IM, P2P, Email, etc. by users and groups.

CyBlock Appliance - Inline Configuration

Proxy Mode

In this configuration, HTTP traffic is sent to the CyBlock Appliance as proxy requests. CyBlock Appliance then determines if the request should be blocked or allowed based on your filter (block or allow) settings. In Proxy mode, the appliance is not able to block or monitor protocols, i.e., IM, P2P, Email, Streaming, etc.
