Apache Proxy
Cyfin is designed to work with Apache Proxy. Your Cyfin system can be configured in two ways, either as an on-box or off-box solution.
Cyfin installed directly on Apache Proxy ("on-box")
Logfile Setup

Default Directory: /apache/proxy/logs
Configuration Notes
If your logfile configuration results in an error, please check your directory path and make sure it is the one that contains your actual logfiles.
Cyfin is installed on a server other than Apache Proxy ("off-box")

FTP Arrangements: If your logfiles are currently being FTP'd, please determine the destination server/directory. If you plan to install Cyfin on the server where Apache logfiles reside, no further action is needed. If not, configure your logs to be scheduled for FTP transfer to the server Cyfin is installed on. The Cyfin default directory for Apache logfiles is /apache/proxy/logs, but it can easily be changed.
Configuration Notes
Cyfin needs access to the Apache logfiles in order to run reports. You can either FTP them to the Cyfin machine, or put them on a mounted network drive that Cyfin can access. We recommend scheduling the logfiles to be FTP'd to the Cyfin machine for the least amount of strain on your network.
